On-Site Crane and Rigging Safety Training
Have Subject Matter Experts Train Your Teams With Your Equipment Right at Your Facility.
The Benefits of On-Site Crane and Rigging Training
When you have more than three lifting professionals to train, the costs and logistical challenges of sending them to a training center can be prohibitive. The expenses of hotel, travel, and per diem per student can quickly add up. In such situations, CICB's instructors can bring the training to you, saving you significant costs and headaches.
On top of the travel savings, on-site training provides your team with the following:
- Training on your equipment: Your team trains directly on the lifting equipment they will work with daily.
- Customization: Our team visiting your location lets us see the types of lifts your organization performs. This allows our instructors to tailor the training to relevant concepts for your organization.
- OSHA compliance: Documented training and evaluation on your equipment and processes for your company to qualify your employees and meet OSHA's requirements.
- Flexible scheduling: Training at your location offers additional flexibility in scheduling training dates. Your dedicated account manager will work with you to lock in the dates that best fit your organization.

Our On-Site Training Approach
At CICB, our approach to on-site training is designed to meet your specific needs. It starts with understanding your training goals, availability, special site considerations, and ways we can customize our training to fit your organization's lifting processes. The hours of training are set based on what's best for your team, whether it's an A, B, or C shift. A dedicated account manager will consult with you every step of the way.
After the dates are secured, we begin preparing for success. We plan the training materials and additional equipment kits needed and ship them to your location ahead of time. Your CICB instructor will review your specific requirements and tailor our training process for your team. CICB instructors are employed full-time rather than subcontracted to ensure quality training every time.
Upon successfully completing a CICB course, attendees will receive a photo wallet card and training certificate. This will serve as a documented record of equipment training. Passing CCO preparation courses is an exception, as they will have certification issued directly from the CCO.
On-site Training Locations Available
From highly secured, remote facilities at the edge of Alaska to large-scale construction projects in the Middle East, CICB instructors have been across the country and the globe. Our team has the flexibility to train in settings requiring security clearance, being out at sea, and more. Call us at 800-327-1386 to see where we can serve you.
"I have been with this facility for 28 years and this was truly one of the best training classes I've had. Aaron was an excellent presenter and actually gave us practical, hands-on training. His experience in the 'crane world' has given him knowledge that he clearly puts into his class. Safety stressed, stories of crane use and just enough humor to keep it light, made the day go by quick and kept me interested."
