NCCCO Certification Requirements in Kentucky

In Kentucky, employers must make sure their crane and rigger operators are certified through NCCCO to meet OSHA requirements. Operators must acquire a certification for each crane type they operate and complete periodic recertification.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, adhere to NCCCO's substance abuse and ethics policies, and pass both a written and practical exam that demonstrates their operating skills.
