CICB’s CCO Preparation Course is specifically designed to prepare candidates who currently work with overhead cranes for the successful completion of CCO Written and Practical Examinations.
At CICB’s Houston training center, hands-on practice sessions are included for the Pendant/Remote Control Overhead Cranes. If more practice time is anticipated, we are capable of scheduling additional time for you to prepare for a Practical Examination.
This program includes CICB’s Study Guide for this program, which is authored and copyrighted by CICB on an annual basis, as well as interactive classroom exercises that emphasize all parts of the CCO Core and Specialty Examinations.

- Load Handling (Approximately 27%)
- Shutdown and Secure (Approximately 4%)
- Technical Knowledge (Approximately 15%)
- Basic Math Skills Necessary to Pass the Exams
- Multiple Practice Tests for all Domains

The Instructor Larry Kime is absolutely one of the best instructors I have ever had, and I have a degree in mechanical engineering.
